Student expectations

What students are expected to do

The Sterile Process is structured for serious students who can commit to preparation, accountability, and professional growth.

Program expectations

  • Stay on schedule and communicate early if you are falling behind.
  • Complete required readings, lectures, assignments, quizzes, and review work.
  • The self-paced program has no required live classes. Review recorded learning resources and use instructor messaging when you need support.
  • Set a consistent study schedule that fits your availability, including evenings or weekends, and complete coursework within your access period.
  • Maintain professional communication with The Sterile Process staff and instructors.
  • Take responsibility for finding and securing a facility for qualifying hands-on hours. TSP provides guidance and can support coordination after you establish a facility connection, but does not guarantee placement, employment, or acceptance of hours.
